MEDICINAL PLANTS

It is a perennial plant that springs from a small tuber. The leaves are quite large, with heart-shaped, green with white specks blurred by the beam and a reddish hue on the underside, are linked directly to the tuber through Tallit very long and slender. FLOWERING

APPLICATIONS

Not exactly known substances that compose it. Usually used as very strong purgative and as an emetic when freshly caught and kept fresh. But their use is not recommended in either case, since there are many plants that can perform these functions perfectly and are not as dangerous as pamporcino, which is a very toxic plant. Therefore not be used for and should be very careful with it because its ingestion can have serious consequences, such as cold sweats, dizziness, seizures, etc.. It may even cause death. It is a plant widely used to feed some animals such as pigs, which does them no harm. If they are dried or roasted, the tubers may become even harmless to humans.

ADMINISTRATION

Alcoholic tincture. They take 10 to 15 drops of fresh tuber alcohol per day, dividing the dose in two or three doses. You must be very careful preparation, it can be dangerous.
Ointment. Tuber oil is prepared using the juice or after performing the same cooking, are added as wormwood or jalapa purgatives. It is applied externally on the belly.
